Privacy notice

Portolan provides voyage management software to shipping companies. For the business data a customer enters into its workspace, the customer is the controller and Portolan processes that data on the customer's instructions.

Account details for the people a customer invites (name, work email, role and office), sign-in and session records, the audit trail of changes made in a workspace, and API key metadata. We do not ask for personal data beyond what is needed to run the service.

To provide and secure the service, to attribute changes to the person, agent or API key that made them, to support customers when they ask for help, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to host the service under written agreements. Workspace data is kept for as long as the customer's subscription runs and deleted after it ends, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

You can ask your workspace administrator to correct or remove your account. For other requests about your personal data, contact privacy@portolan.example.
